The YWCA-SHR has received a $25,000 gift from Angela Reddix, President and CEO of ARDX, a Norfolk-based corporation specializing in technology and management solutions for both government and private industry clients. The gift will be used to establish a scholarship to honor Olivia Maggie Dyson, who was Reddix’s grandmother.
Annually, the scholarship fund will pay the two-year tuition at Tidewater Community College for two YWCA-SHR clients entering the health care field. Each year, two additional clients will be awarded scholarships as well. The first scholarships are expected to be awarded later this year.
