Kathy Hevey, Corporate Advisory Board Member
Bio:
A retired organization development coordinator with the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ms. Hevey has more than 40 years of experience advising on strategic planning, organizational alignment, and leadership development. As an internal consultant working with the City’s Executive Leadership and other departments, Ms. Hevey has designed and developed foundational and leadership course content and has served as a mentor and coach for facilitators, managers, and individuals.
Her exemplary work has earned her formal recognition by peers and organizations alike, including being elected to the Virginia Beach City Employee Hall of Fame and named the Virginia Beach Rotary Club’s city Employee of the Year.
Ms. Hevey earned a bachelor of arts in history and secondary education from Mercyhurst College and a masters in mass communication from Regent University. She is a certified change master facilitator and a certified William Bridges trainer in leading organizational transition.
