Beverly Roberts-Atwater, DO, Ph.D., Corporate Advisory Board Member
Bio:
Nationally recognized for her work as a practitioner and academic, Dr. Roberts-Atwater has served on dozens of national and state-level committees for professional associations and healthcare organizations. These include the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program review committee of the National American Medical Association Board, the National Board of Osteopathic Medicine in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Legislative Policy Committee of the Academic Association of Physiatrists.
As a Health Policy Fellow through the New York Institute of Technology and Ohio University, she examined health policy and politics in the U.S. healthcare system in the United States, and has also presented research on spasticity in the disabled populations, healthcare disparities, concussion protocols for “Return to Learn,” and sickle cell disease pain management.
Dr. Roberts-Atwater earned a Ph.D. and DO from Michigan State University.
