ARDX Awarded Contract for City of Norfolk’s Digital Entrepreneur Ecosystem Hub Development

Norfolk, VA, October 15, 2020 – After a successful collaboration with the City of Norfolk through the Startup in Residence (STiR) program in 2019, ARDX was recently awarded a contract with Norfolk to host a “one-stop shop” website for Norfolk entrepreneurs. This new hub will provide entrepreneurs within the city a chance to develop and launch their small businesses effectively and efficiently and be better positioned to become a vendor with the City.

ARDX will build a technology solution for the City of Norfolk and residents that guides entrepreneurs through the process of starting a business with a focus on planning, managing, and growing a business. Among other resources, there will be interactive tools for entrepreneurs to calculate costs, assess level of readiness to do business with the City of Norfolk, and compare and select the best business structure.

“As a successful Norfolk-based small business, we are passionate about partnering with the City of Norfolk by investing in the economic growth within the small business community – helping Norfolk become the most sought after Small Business friendly city,” states Dr. Angela D. Reddix, Founder, President & CEO of ARDX. “This is also an opportunity for ARDX to locally share our expertise as a federal government contractor.”

In the wake of COVID-19, some small businesses are struggling financially, so this contract provides a timely vehicle for valuable information and resources available to support the entrepreneur community.

“ARDX is proud to continue expanding partnerships with the City of Norfolk and working together to provide entrepreneurs a platform for economic empowerment and development,” stated Dr. Reddix.
