The Norfolk mother of 10 worked multiple jobs to make ends meet and provide for her children. She worked in the city’s parks and recreation department and as a server. For her night job, she crafted biscuits at the Hardee’s on 21st Street in Ghent.

Now, her name is being recognized at the office building across the street, where Norfolk health company ARDX’s Olivia on 21st division of health equity will create 15 jobs.

“Today, I stand here as the proud first grandchild of Olivia Maggie Dyson,” ARDX founder and CEO Angela Reddix said during the company’s announcement Thursday.
